Scope of PositionThe Marketing, Communications and Digital Strategy Department is responsible for brand management, communications, marketing and advertising activities on behalf of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The James and the College of Medicine. This Marketing Consultant position sits within the department’s Growth Marketing and Reputation Strategy team and supports the strategic goals of Ohio State’s ambulatory services through marketing initiatives that build awareness, reputation and patient volume.
PositionSummary
The Ambulatory Marketing Consultant supports the planning, coordination and execution of marketing programs for ambulatory services. This role supports the development and implementation of marketing plans, manages multiple projects, coordinates stakeholder input and marketing activities across teams, and advances patient growth, brand reputation and strategic business objectives. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in a business, communications, marketing, advertising or related environment.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive and detail-oriented.
- Marketing, advertising, digital marketing or communications experience preferred.
