E.E. Ward Moving & Storage is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Marketing Communications Coordinator who can take ownership of day-to-day marketing execution and hit the ground running.

This is not a role where every task will come with step-by-step instructions. We will provide the tools, resources, brand direction, and support needed to be successful, but we are looking for someone who knows how to take an objective, develop a plan, and move it forward.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and manage social media content calendars across multiple platforms and initiatives.
  • Create, film, edit, write, schedule, and publish original organic content.
  • Identify content opportunities within the company rather than waiting for content to be assigned.
  • Develop strategic social media plans that support E.E. Ward and additional company projects and brand initiatives.
  • Help develop and maintain brand kits, creative assets, presentations, marketing materials, and brand standards.
  • Create graphics and marketing materials using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Capture and edit short-form video and photography for social media, internal communications, campaigns, and events.
  • Write strong social copy, marketing communications, newsletters, and other brand content.
  • Understand how to optimize social content based on platform best practices, performance, audience engagement, and analytics.
  • Support basic SEO initiatives and understand how content, keywords, websites, and search visibility work together.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve research, ideation, content development, productivity, and marketing workflows.
  • Coordinate with outside partners, including PR/publicity firms, SEO partners, designers, consultants, and other marketing agencies.
  • Help keep projects moving by following up, communicating clearly, managing deadlines, and taking accountability for deliverables.
  • Support internal marketing and communications across our locations and employees.
  • Provide occasional administrative and HR support as business needs require.
  • Be comfortable shifting priorities and moving between creative, strategic, and administrative responsibilities.
Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with demonstrated professional experience executing marketing and content—not simply exposure to it.

The right person is a self-starter who can walk into a role, assess what needs to happen, ask the right questions, create a plan, and begin executing.

You should have:

  • Experience in managing social media and creating content for a business, brand, agency, or organization.
  • A portfolio or examples of social media, video, design, campaigns, or other marketing work you personally created or managed.
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing content calendars.
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience filming and editing short-form video.
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and content optimization.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Experience using AI tools in a professional or marketing environment.
  • Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • The confidence to take ownership of projects and move them forward with a high degree of independence.
  • The flexibility to learn quickly, pivot when priorities change, and collaborate with both internal teams and outside partners.
  • Manage and coordinate relationships with outside consultants, agencies, and vendors, ensuring clear communication, aligned priorities, timely deliverables, and accountability across projects.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes initiative. We want to give this person the resources, access, and support they need and trust them to turn those resources into action.
