Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Thought Leader Liaison to build partnerships with key opinion leaders in academic and clinical medicine and execute commercial strategies supporting the launch of Resmetirom for MASH. The role combines field marketing expertise with thought leader engagement across the Cleveland/Pittsburgh region.
Responsibilities- Cultivate and maintain long‑term commercial relationships with regional thought leaders and emerging influencers
- Conduct market research and generate insights to inform brand strategies and regional marketing initiatives
- Plan and execute congress activities including product theaters and strategic thought leader engagements
- Coordinate speaker recruitment, training, and program management for regional programming
- Collaborate across functions to develop comprehensive regional thought leader strategy and align company resources
- BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or life sciences
- 10+ years experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or hospital settings
- 2+ years in thought leader liaison or similar field marketing role
- 2+ years working with thought leaders in hepatology, gastroenterology, or endocrinology
- Proven leadership and relationship-building skills across cross‑functional teams
- Experience supporting specialty product launches
- Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure compliance with regulations
