Position Summary:
The Nurse Manager leads a team of professional health care providers cultivating collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect; creates and facilitates an environment that supports the nursing professional practice model; functions as a key member of the health care team that provides patient care and supportive services in an in‑patient setting directed toward achievement of positive patient care outcomes.
- Oversee plans, organize, manage, and evaluate patient care operations for a designated area(s) on a 24‑hour basis.
- Plan and develop strategic short, mid, and long‑term goals and processes to enhance and improve unit operations.
- Evaluate and identify achievements and problems in meeting goals; manage, guide, coach, and evaluate work performance of patient care staff.
- Promote ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments and areas.
- Develop, administer, and manage unit budget plans; identify cost‑saving initiatives.
- Participate in development of evidence‑based standards of practice and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assume leadership in identifying and correcting factors contributing to problematic outcomes.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Current Ohio RN license.
- Minimum of three to five years of clinical and management experience in a relevant care setting.
- Certification in nursing administration or related field preferred; must be achieved within the eligibility timeline.
- Two years of prior leadership and management experience required.
Job Type: Full‑time, 40 hours per week. First Shift preferred.
Salary: $94,739.05 – $ (announced). Competitive.
