Shift: 3pm-11pm, every other weekend, part‑time.

We are seeking a Non Certified Nursing Assistant/STNA who will share in our vision to advance better living and care for seniors. The purpose of this position is to provide direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, encourage residents to maintain or reach the highest level of function, and report needs and concerns to the supervisor on duty.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Experience:
  
  Two to four years preferred.
• Good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and the internet.
• Licensure:
  State Tested Nurse Aide.

• Performs/assists with all resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living as needed, including lifting, turning, positioning, bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, responding to call lights, providing restorative care, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident’s room, participates in activities of interest to the resident, provides restorative nursing programs.
• Communicates professionally and effectively, follows directions, provides exemplary customer service, and reports changes in physical or mental conditions promptly.
• Assists nurses with assigned tasks such as recording vitals, preparing beds, assisting new admissions, and training new staff.
• Adheres to Resident Rights documentation, reports complaints, maintains confidentiality.
• Documents resident information timely, accurately, and confidentially in the electronic medical record system.
• Adheres to safety and compliance policies, demonstrates proper use of equipment.
• Practices universal precautions and infection control protocols.
• Performs food service functions including meal preparation, serving, assisting with eating, recording intake, and reporting changes.
