Position Overview
Travel Nurse RN – PACU (Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit) in Columbus, OH. 13‑week assignment starting January 12, 2026. 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30). Weekly rate: $2,056 (subject to confirmation), with tax‑free stipend and benefits.

Columbus, OH 43210 - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
- Shift Pattern: 3×12‑hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
- Hours per Week: 36 (average)
- Weekend Coverage: 1–2 weekend shifts per 4‑week schedule
- Patient Population:
Adults and Geriatrics - Unit Size: 20 beds, daily census 30‑50
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,830–$1,880 (rates may vary; primary offer is $2,056)
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or critical care RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio RN license required)
- Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CCRN preferred) - Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- Proficient in telemetry, ventilator management, and electronic charting systems
- Ability to provide 2 professional references (including 1 from a manager/director or supervisor)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Deliver high‑quality nursing care to post‑anesthesia patients in a Level 1 Trauma PACU
- Monitor and assess patient recovery from anesthesia, including vital signs and pain management
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as ordered
- Manage ventilated patients and provide central line care
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and other complications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response
- Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems
- Participate in self‑scheduling and maintain flexibility for weekend coverage
