Certified Nursing Assistant / State Tested Nursing Assistant – 3pm–11pm / Full Time

We are seeking a Non Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents in our Memory Care Unit during the second shift (3pm–11pm). The purpose of this position is to assist residents with activities of daily living and preserve their independence under facility policies while communicating concerns to supervisory staff.

• Perform and assist with resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living, including lifting, turning, positioning, transporting, bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming.
• Respond to call lights promptly and provide restorative care such as range‑of‑motion and ambulation.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, conduct daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and discharge cleaning as required.
• Engage residents in activities of interest and provide restorative nursing programs necessary to maintain ADLs.
• Communicate professionally and effectively, following written and verbal directions and providing exemplary customer service to residents, peers, families, managers, and visitors.
• Assist nurses with vitals, weight and measurements, documentation, bed making, closet organization, new admissions, and training of new staff.
• Uphold Resident Rights, assist residents in exercising their rights, and report complaints to the charge nurse or supervisor.
• Document resident information accurately and confidentially in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow Safety & Compliance policies, demonstrate proper use of equipment, and report needs or repairs.
• Practice universal precautions, use protective equipment, and follow infection control protocols.
• Perform food service functions: prepare residents for meals, serve food, assist with eating, after‑meal care, and record intake.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred); or currently enrolled in program toward preferred education.
• Two to four years of CNA experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Internet.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant licensure (STNA).

Salary: $38,000 – $41,000 per year.
