Job Description What you’ll do at DBH:

As a Mental Health/Psychiatric RN you will:

  • Serve in a fundamental role as an interdisciplinary treatment team member for psychiatric patients creating and executing treatment plans
  • Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, & response to medication and treatment
  • As charge nurse, initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients and provide support and direction for nursing staff while promoting a positive and safe environment for recovery
  • Contribute vital input on records, plans, and reports
  • Facilitate patient group activities

This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range. An additional $1.50/hr shift differential and $3.50/hr PM hours supplement will be applied to all hours worked between 3pm and 7am

Normal working hours are 5 8-hour shifts a week for full-time and 2-3 8-hour shifts a week for part-time. All shifts include an every other weekend rotation. Full-time first and second shift currently available, as well as part time third shift:
First shift 6:30am-3pm, second shift 2:30pm-11pm, third shift 10:30pm-7am.

This position is located within our Central Ohio Behavioral Healthcare campus at 2200 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223.
