Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio requiring an OH or compact RN license and strong PCU skills.
Responsibilities
* Position is in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
* Schedule consists of 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
* Patient ratio is approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients
* Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
* Use of Epic EMR for documentation
* Responsibilities include IV starts and telemetry monitoring
* Provide comprehensive care to a PCU patient population
* Must be available to work during the blackout period from 2/15/26 through 2/28/26 with no RTO granted
* Team-oriented environment with opportunities to work with various acuity levels
* Holiday rotations required as part of the schedule
Requirements
* Active OH or compact RN license required
* Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience required
* Current certifications in ACLS and BCLS required
* Previous travel nursing experience preferred
