Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – ICU / Critical Care – Ohio

Start Date: February 9, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts per week; 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule; 2:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Critical care environment with Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Complex patient population including ventilator management, telemetry, and critical interventions
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, lift teams, and rapid response
• 20-bed unit with daily census of 30-50 patients; 36-hour orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric populations with advanced critical care needs
• No time off approved between February 15 and February 28, 2026

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required; CCRN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience
• Proficiency with ventilator management, telemetry, blood product administration, and critical care interventions
• Experience with dysrhythmia recognition, IV vasopressors, central line management, and conscious sedation
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
