Schedules to choose from :

Work a minimum of 3 : 12-hour (7a to 7p) or 8-hour shifts (7a to 3p) per month, no holidays or weekends required

Compensation : Now offering $28-$38 per hour

What You’ll Do :
  • Provide direct patient care as defined in State Nurse Practice Act
  • Implement current nursing practice following a comprehensive assessment and the plan of care
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient services to reflect the plan of care
  • Assess and provide patient and family / caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and self-plan of care
  • Participate in the coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group.
  • Provide appropriate pain / symptom management. Evaluates the patient’s response to treatments / medications
Qualifications :
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or a vocational nursing program
  • Three years of nursing experience. Community health, hospice or medical / surgical experience is preferred
  • Currently licensed as an LPN / LVN in the practicing state
  • Must possess current CPR Certification
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
  • Valid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements
  • Understands the philosophy of hospice concept and the needs of the terminally ill
