Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position in Ohio requiring an active OH or compact license and strong PCU or med-surg background.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting

• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00PM-7:30AM)

• Rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays included in the schedule

• Estimated patient ratios are 1:4

• May be required to float to different units within the organization as needed

• Use of Epic EMR is required

• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as contract is signed

• RTO (requests for time off) must be included at the time of contract

• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers

• Team structure may require flexibility and support across units as needed

• Rotating holiday coverage is expected

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or med-surg RN experience required

• Current BLS certification required

• Experience with Epic EMR required

• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership capacity

• Former employees eligible if away for 6 months or more; current Ohio State University hospital employees ineligible
