Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit / Med-Surg RN – Ohio

Start Date: February 9, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Med-Surg experience welcomed
• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• Epic EMR system in use
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Neuro-focused patient population including stroke, craniotomy, CVA, and traumatic brain injury
• 24 hours of orientation provided; float to other units as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg experience required
• BCLS certification required; ACLS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Skills required include cardiac telemetry, central line management, arterial line management, titration of cardiac drips, and neuro stepdown competencies
• Two professional references from manager/director or formal leadership required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
