Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night float pool position requiring IV start and telemetry experience with an active OH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Hospital setting on a Med/Surg float pool
- Floats to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Cares for adult Med/Surg patient population
- Handles patient ratios of 1:4-5
- Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) including weekend nights
- Uses Epic EMR system and telemetry monitoring equipment
- Must provide high-quality nursing care and demonstrate flexibility in floating within units
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail are required
- Holiday coverage is expected according to unit needs
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
- Current BCLS certification
- Proficient with IV start and telemetry monitoring
- Experience with Epic EMR
