Requirements

2

years PCU or Neuro Stepdown experience

Strong Neuro background required

BLS, ACLS & NIHSS – REQUIRED (NIHSS = HARD STOP)

Epic charting experience required

Previous travel experience preferred

Compact or

Ohio RN license in hand at submission

CVA & intracranial bleed management

Seizure management

Cardiac telemetry

IV insulin & heparin protocols

PCA & non-titrated cardiac drips

29-bed unit with strong interdisciplinary support
IV team, PT, RT, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Social Work, Transport, Unit Secretary

Orientation

24 hours orientation

Self-scheduling model

6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Compliance & Important Notes

Ohio fingerprinting is mandatory and time-sensitive
Must complete immediately after contract signing

Strict compliance deadline:

Tuesday prior to start date

RTO must be submitted upfront and built into contract

2 professional references required
1 must be manager/director (Charge RN acceptable as 2nd)
