Sub-Investigator​/Nurse Practitioner – Ohio, Clinical Research - Phase –IV clinical trials

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s clinical research team as a Sub-Investigator
, supporting Phase I–IV clinical trials.

This is an investigator-level role
, working closely with the Principal Investigator and research team to ensure the safe and compliant conduct of clinical trials.

• Conduct medical visits, examinations and clinical assessments of study participants
• Review medical histories and protocol eligibility criteria
• Assess treatment response and adverse events
• Support informed consent and patient safety
• Review and follow clinical trial protocols
• Work closely with the PI, research team, sponsors and clinical monitors
• Participate in investigator meetings, monitoring visits and audits
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH and FDA requirements
• Support accurate clinical documentation and data integrity
• Provide input into recruitment, study feasibility and trial execution

• Nurse Practitioner – required
• Current NP licensure
• Clinical research experience
• Previous Sub-Investigator experience preferred
• Experience with industry-sponsored clinical trials highly desirable
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH/FDA regulations
• Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively

Our client conducts a broad range of clinical research, with particular expertise in neuroscience, neurology, psychiatry, clinical pharmacology, pain and metabolic disorders
, alongside other Phase I–IV programmes.

Ideal for an NP who wants to combine their clinical expertise with meaningful involvement in clinical research and take on greater responsibility as a Sub-Investigator.
