Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Antepartum care. The nurse will work night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week. The position involves every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed. The facility primarily cares for patients in antepartum and postpartum stages with telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry. Nurses will be expected to manage patient diagnoses such as antepartum, postpartum with telemetry, and postpartum IUFD.
Certifications required for this role include ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring. Responsibilities include the administration of medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and assisting with high-risk deliveries. The RN will also provide education and support for patients and their families. The role requires the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage care for patients requiring specialized interventions. Candidates must be effective in working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
This position requires flexibility to float to different units as needed. All candidates must meet the facility's vaccination requirements.
