Position Overview

Century Medical Family Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team in El Paso, Texas. This is a full‑time position with no on‑call duties or weekend shifts, allowing for a work‑life balance that is rare in the healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive primary care services, performing thorough health assessments and evaluations to understand the medical needs of each patient.
  • Perform onsite health risk assessments, identifying potential health issues and developing tailored intervention strategies to optimize patient health.
  • Educate patients on wellness initiatives, preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle choices that can lead to improved health outcomes.
  • Support patients in making positive lifestyle changes through motivation and evidence‑based guidance, including nutrition and exercise planning.
  • Manage chronic health conditions by developing and implementing effective treatment plans, as well as ongoing monitoring of treatment outcomes.
  • Oversee and coordinate care provided by the medical staff within the Marathon Health Center, ensuring that all patients receive consistent and comprehensive care.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with the center's staff, promoting teamwork and open communication to enhance patient care.
  • Engage actively in community outreach through participation in wellness events and health fairs to educate and promote health awareness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Family Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our focus is on family‑centric care, integrating knowledge of family health dynamics to enhance individual and community wellness. The FNP will be integral in building lasting relationships with patients, addressing their unique healthcare needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for documenting patient care and managing health information.
  • A commitment to delivering quality care with an emphasis on communication, collaboration, and trust‑building.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or family practice setting is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead health and wellness initiatives, including a participation mindset for community health fairs and events.
