Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and experience to provide exceptional care in a high-paced environment.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records.
• Float to other units as necessary to meet staffing needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Proficiency in IV start and experience in Labor and Delivery required.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.

This position requires working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week.

• WMC Monthly Permit:
  Offers guaranteed 24/7 parking.
• WB Annual Permit:
  Provides shuttle service with surface parking available.
• CXS Annual Permit: 24/7 parking with access on weekends and holidays.
