American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with 1 year of experience and EPIC proficiency for a 13-week day shift assignment.

• MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:30)
• Rotating schedule changes every 4 weeks between the same straight shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
• Float required within OSU facilities

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1 year of experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• IV start skills required
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry monitoring experience on the unit
• Peripheral line care and management experience
• IV therapy/phlebotomy experience
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; a second reference from a Charge RN is acceptable; coworker references are not accepted

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Former employees are eligible to return as travelers after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible for travel assignments
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly after signing the contract
