We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be prepared to handle a variety of situations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity of conditions.
- Administer emergency medications and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Conduct procedural sedation and manage ventilated patients.
- Care for trauma patients and assist with psych holds.
- Provide pediatric emergency care as needed.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and manage medications through Pyxis system.
- Float to other units as required and assist the healthcare team in various roles.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred.
- Strong ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage emergency procedures.
- Comfortable with triage, trauma care, psych holds, and pediatric emergencies.
- Ohio RN license required.
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:3.5
- 36 hours of orientation provided.
- Eligible for first-time travelers.
- Uniform:
Navy scrubs.
Monthly and annual parking permits are available with guaranteed access to parking facilities.
