American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and an OH or Compact RN license.

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital
• 13-week assignment with night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Float to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred

• Active OH State or Compact RN license in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of current PICU experience required (CV PICU experience alone not sufficient)
• 2 supervisory or manager-titled references required at time of consideration
• Skilled in respiratory care including ventilator management, ETT/NT suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Skilled in IV therapy including central line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Skilled in cardiovascular monitoring including hemodynamic monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Experience with ICP monitoring, renal failure management, and post-acute abdominal surgery care preferred

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a Level I trauma teaching hospital setting
• Floating to other units is a standard expectation for this assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered if they have closer to 3 years of recent Level I PICU experience
• Candidates who worked permanently at the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
• Local candidates are not permitted within a 60-mile radius of the facility
