Registered Nurse In The Pcu At James Cancer Hospital
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the PCU at James Cancer Hospital, where you'll provide critical care to oncology patients.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide high acuity care in a progressive care unit
- Manage patient care for solid tumor and orthopedic oncology cases
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and telemetry systems
- Implement infection prevention protocols and fall prevention strategies
- Float between units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Collaborate with rapid response teams and manage critical situations
- Active RN licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a PCU setting
- Certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ACLS, and NIH
- Experience with high acuity PCU patients
- Proficiency in interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Experience in central line care and management
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience in chemotherapy administration
