American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and current EPIC proficiency.

• ICU setting within a heart hospital
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Patient ratios of 1:1-2
• No on-call requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Proficient in IV starts
• Experience with telemetry monitoring
• Competency with ventilator management
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role;
  Charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and administration of vasoactive and sedation drips
• Skilled in care of patients with arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration
• Experience with CRRT/CVVHD, Impella, IABP, and Swan-Ganz monitoring preferred
• Responsible for cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response
• Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions required
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6+ months away from the facility
• Current employees ineligible for travel assignments at this health system
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance timelines
