American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2 years of neuro ICU experience and prior travel assignment experience.

• Work in a Neuro Intensive Care Unit setting
• 36 hours per week schedule
• Day shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00-19:30) or Night shift (3x12 Hours, 19:00-7:30) options
• Weekend shift requirement defined as Friday and Saturday nights
• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Uses Epic EMR system

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with strong Neuro background required
• Prior travel nursing assignment experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Skills required:
  
  IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• 2 professional references required, with at least one from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role and the second from a Charge RN or higher (no coworker references accepted)

• Provide critical care nursing to neurological ICU patients including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgical care
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance timelines
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• RTO must be submitted with application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this health system
• First-time travelers will be considered but should be screened
