School Registered Nurse | Columbus, Ohio

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting an elementary-aged student in a school setting. This position offers the chance to make a direct impact by providing dedicated 1:1 nursing care, ensuring the student's safety and well-being throughout the school day and during transportation to and from school.

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in Ohio
• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in educational environments
• Proficiency in NG tube feeding, medication administration, and suctioning techniques
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and healthcare providers
• CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations

• Deliver individualized nursing care for one elementary student, including riding the bus with the student in the mornings and afternoons (approximately 7-hour shift, 5 days per week)
• Monitor and manage specialized healthcare needs, including NG tube feedings, administering medications, and performing suctioning as needed
• Document all care provided and communicate health updates to school staff and parents/guardians
• Act as a health advocate for the student within the school environment, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Respond calmly and efficiently to any health emergencies or changes in the student’s condition
• Support inclusion by assisting the student in accessing educational activities safely
