American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with 2+ years of MS/PCU experience and an active OH or compact RN license for a hospital position with every other weekend requirements.

• Work in the MS/Tele unit of a hospital setting
• MS/PCU patient population with 1:4 and 1:3 patient ratios respectively
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float to different units within the organization as needed

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an MS/PCU unit
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required skills:
  
  interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, on-unit telemetry monitoring, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, and phlebotomy
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role and the second acceptable from a Charge RN (no coworker references)

• Provide direct patient care to med/surg telemetry patients including monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response support
• Candidates must complete Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer, including a lifetime background check search
• RTO must be requested and built into the contract prior to consideration, limited to 7 days or less
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible for a travel assignment
