American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse
- Operating Room for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of OR experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Operating Room unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Late days required
• Call required
• Must be willing to float to other hospital units as needed

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties such as Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Bariatrics, Podiatry, and Endoscopic procedures preferred
• Skills in administration of blood/blood products, cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, IV starts, and wound management preferred
• Familiarity with OR equipment such as Cell Saver, electrosurgical units, Hana Table, and Steris preferred
• 2 professional references required, with at least one from a Manager/Director or Supervisor and the second acceptable from a Charge RN (no coworker references)

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Participate in scrub and circulating roles depending on case needs
• Must complete Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer due to strict compliance timelines
• RTO requests must be submitted with the contract and limited to 7 days or less
• No RTO approved during the weeks of November 22-28 and December 20-26 due to holiday staffing needs
• RTO during the week of New Year's is subject to manager discretion
• Travelers working over both Thanksgiving and Christmas will be scheduled for one of the two holidays based on facility needs
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible to work as travelers at this health system
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
