VCA Sawmill Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our newly renovated animal hospital. The position is full‑time with 8‑10 hour shifts and one weekend per month.

Compensation: $24–25/hr, starting range based on license, skill set, and years of experience.

With expertise in the latest procedures and treatments, we ensure every patient receives exceptional preventive and healing care. The renovated facility features 10 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, a dental procedure room, new CT imaging services, a state‑of‑the‑art physical therapy department, and an updated grooming department.

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post‑op recovery
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
• Collect samples and perform in‑house laboratory diagnostics
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Diagnostic imaging
• Perform additional related duties as needed

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or eligible to transfer state license (LVT, CVT, LVMT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE within 6 months of hire
