Landscaping Crew Leader (Canton) – Bright View Landscapes.

We are looking for an experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee crews (2-5 members). Candidates must have at least 1 year verifiable experience as a Crew Leader/Foreman and hold a valid driver’s license. A chauffeur’s endorsement is required; candidates willing to obtain one before starting will also be considered.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Chauffeur’s endorsement or license.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Landscaping Crew Leader or Foreman.
• DDOT medical card or ability to pass a medical exam including drug test.
• State of MI (MDARD) pesticide licenses.
• Irrigation experience (troubleshooting, repair, spring startup, fall shutdown).

• Performance & Quality:
  • Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and delegate work.
  • Maintain schedule and ensure service expectations are met.
  • Identify more efficient ways to perform work.
• Client Satisfaction:
  • Surface client concerns to the Production Manager and assist in resolution.
• Crew Management:
  • Provide feedback to the Production Manager on crew members.
  • Assist in development and training of crew members.
  • Turn in accurate crew time logs.
• Safety:
  • Ensure all crew members work safely per company policy.
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order and receives preventive maintenance.
  • Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles.
