Snow Crew Member – Schill Grounds Management

Base pay range: $25.00/hr – $30.00/hr.

The Snow Crew Member is a flexible schedule position that allows you to work on-call as needed. Snow shovels are responsible for snow removal using a manual shovel or equipment.

• Attend meetings at the branch, if requested.
• Perform snow removal with a manual shovel.
• Spread salt as requested.
• Remove snow from storefronts using awning rakes.
• Operate small snow blowers.
• Operate walk-back snow sweepers.
• Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Must be self-motivated.

• Must meet MVR and have a clean driving record (preferred).
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Must be able to drive to the work site or branch in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.

Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally if needed. Schedules may vary and require flexibility to work extended hours. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays. This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold or heat.
