Overview

Work with assigned bank partners to earn business referrals and sell Paychex products and services to prospects with 1‑49 employees to achieve revenue results.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for meeting unit and revenue expectations.
  • Present Paychex products and services in-person to final decision makers and end users within assigned territory and client size to achieve unit and revenue goals.
  • Schedule appointments and visits to assigned bank branches to secure referrals.
  • Leverage the Go‑to‑Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers, whether in person or virtually, to increase revenue and market share.
  • Present to bank partners on Paychex products and services to educate and build value in the partnership.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests to determine appropriate products and refer to appropriate party when necessary.
  • Expedite resolution of customer problems or complaints to appropriate channels to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Complete and submit accurate new‑business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by agreed‑upon dates to assist with forecasting.
  • Work with bank partners to identify business account holders who would be a good fit for Paychex’s services and call on those account holders with bank partners.
  • Partner with other sales divisions on a “team selling” approach for any referrals over 49 employees to increase client/prospect experience and revenue results.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma – Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in Sales.
  • 2 years of experience in B2B Sales.
  • Valid Driver’s License – Required
Compensation

Compensation range: $51,000 – $86,330 (base pay plus commissions/bonus). Total rewards package may vary by location, skills, education, and experience.
