Field Sales Consultant — Building Envelope; B2B

Help organizations protect facilities and budgets by guiding them to the right commercial roofing solutions. Bring structure to complex sales cycles, align with operations, and deliver consistent, professional client experiences.

Base salary starting at $60,000 plus commission

• Perform on-site inspections, measurements, and preliminary scoping for commercial roofs.
• Synchronize activity with General Managers, Superintendents, Survey Technicians, and Estimating.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification through close for long-duration deals.
• Maintain consistent customer communication throughout extended timelines.
• Hand off accurate site data to estimating for precise proposals.
• Use CRM to track pipeline, documentation, and forecasts.
• Build trust with customers and manufacturers while upholding brand standards.
• Hit productivity and revenue goals; attend virtual and in-person sales meetings as required.

• Generate new opportunities via referrals and proactive outreach.
• Engage in sales/manufacturer/industry training to expand capability.
• Support branch-level sales campaigns and help mentor new reps as needed.
• Educate customers on incentives and roofing system options.

• Safe access to and inspection of commercial rooftops.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR; willingness to travel locally.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• 3–5+ years in outside or B2B sales with experience managing long sales cycles.
• CRM fluency and disciplined sales process execution.
• Technical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Commercial roofing or construction exposure.
• History of close collaboration with operations teams.
• Existing commercial account relationships.
