Field Sales Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Outside Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives for a leading Safety Supply company in Columbus, OH.

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role by building a high-performing sales team, strengthening customer relationships, and driving profitable revenue growth.

• Lead and develop the team. Coach, mentor, and hold Outside Sales Representatives accountable through regular feedback, field ride-alongs, and performance development.
• Drive profitable growth. Guide the team in achieving revenue, margin, new business, and account growth objectives.
• Execute sales strategies. Develop and support effective territory plans, prospecting activities, and customer account strategies.
• Manage sales performance. Use KPIs, CRM data, and pipeline reviews to identify opportunities, improve sales execution, and address performance gaps.
• Build customer relationships. Partner with representatives on key customer visits, complex opportunities, and strategic account development.
• Strengthen team execution. Collaborate with internal departments and support recruiting, onboarding, and training to deliver a consistent customer experience.

• At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including outside sales, with demonstrated success in account growth and new business development.
• Experience leading, managing, or coaching sales professionals.
• Ability to develop sales talent, establish accountability, and use performance data to drive results.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
