Hours:

40, Shift: First Shift

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research employing molecular, cellular, neurobiological, genetic, and/or genomic approaches to studying neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., aging, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease).
  • Integrate cutting‑edge techniques using human/animal experimental models, high‑throughput screening, functional genomics, and machine‑learning methods.
  • Collaborate on research projects and publications while pursuing investigator‑initiated research.
  • Engage in teaching, service, and clinical practice where appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate (PhD, MD, or equivalent terminal degree) in neuroscience, genetics, biology, or a related field.
  • Robust research record in neurodegenerative disease or related areas.
  • Experience with high‑throughput screening, bioinformatics, and/or machine‑learning preferred.
  • Strong publication record and grant‑seeking ability.
  • Eligibility for tenure (open rank).
