As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, deter security‑related incidents, and deliver a welcoming environment. You will interact with visitors and staff, respond to incidents, and use technology for access control and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry/exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and timely.

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be required.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
