Security Patrol Driver – Commercial Properties

Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is currently hiring reliable and alert Security Patrol Drivers to oversee the safety and security of commercial properties across assigned zones. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding to incidents, deterring unauthorized activity, and ensuring a secure environment for our clients. This role demands a proactive attitude, strong driving skills, situational awareness, and a commitment to providing a professional security presence at all times.

• Conduct routine patrols of assigned commercial properties using a company-provided vehicle.
• Monitor premises for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or calls for assistance.
• Write detailed incident and shift reports to document patrol findings and actions taken.
• Collaborate with emergency services or law enforcement when required.
• Inspect entry/exit points, fences, gates, and facility infrastructure for vulnerabilities or tampering.
• Ensure all patrol routes are covered and maintained based on client schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, tenants, or visitors.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual circumstances immediately.
• Remain vigilant and adhere strictly to all safety and security protocols.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Capability to drive during night shifts and in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to walk, stand, or sit for long periods.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in mobile patrol, private security, or a similar role preferred.
• Experience in commercial property security is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with GPS systems, incident reporting tools, and two-way radios.

• Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability for on-call assignments and extended shifts when necessary.
• Both full-time and part-time schedules available based on site requirements.

• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed patrol instructions.
• Comfortable using mobile devices or security systems for reporting.
• Adept at managing time effectively while covering large areas.
• Awareness of local laws, emergency procedures, and traffic regulations.
