Security Professional – Unarmed Utilities Patrols in Columbus, OH. Part‑Time Security Officer. Pay Rate: $18.06 / Hour.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on utility property in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter and designated areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, as required by site protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site‑specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response operations and/or evacuations in accordance with established site procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for staff, contractors, and visitors.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
