As a Security Officer – Bank Branch Rounds in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a financial institution environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you support clients and visitors with outstanding customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Document observations and incidents according to established protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
• Remain alert to potential security-related hazards and report any suspicious activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
