What You'll Do As a Security Officer 1
- Conduct routine security checks of the premise.
- Perform safety inspections of equipment for malfunction or safety violation.
- Monitor the operation of boilers & the heating, ventilating & air conditioning systems & notifies supervisors &/or maintenance personnel of any problems.
- Check for fire, leaks, weather induced damage, correct lighting, building hazards &/or unauthorized persons.
- Respond to inquiries by telephone, radio &/or in person & record such actions in the appropriate log.
- Screen facility visitors, admitting or denying admission as directed.

Formal education that includes reading, writing & speaking English.
Positions making security rounds in vehicle require valid driver's license.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
