Supervisor, Security Guards-SS; 3rd shift

Position: Supervisor, Security Guards-SS (3rd shift)
** Education**:
Undergraduate studies in education, business administration, criminal justice, private security, or other related area    
** Experience**:
Six years experience in the private sector of the security industry in a position supervising/managing others, or three years as a full-time, certified law enforcement supervisor.  Experience in handling all types of security related emergencies.  Must be bondable.

** Knowledge**:  Must have a familiarity with all laws governing private security as well as normal security programs for life/safety and property protection.  Must be familiar with enterprise security policies and procedures.  Proven knowledge with budgeting and project administration.

** Skills/Competencies**:  Must have the ability to analyze security situations to determine the safest, most appropriate action.  Must be able to conduct risk assessment and recommend security countermeasures.  Must be able to supervise security employees in a variety of emergency situations as well as handle high stress situations.  Must possess basic law enforcement skills, including communication, first responder techniques, crime scene investigation, care and operation of firearms, and progressive use of force.
