Tuesday–Saturday | 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
We’re hiring a 3rd Shift Security Guard Supervisor to lead a team of officers and help maintain a safe, secure environment overnight. You’ll be the point person for critical decisions during non-business hours, ensuring everything runs smoothly while others are off the clock.

Job Description SummaryJOB SUMMARY:
Plans and supervises the duties and responsibilities of the uniformed security officers (Nationwide associates or contract associates). Assists the Security Manager in planning, organizing and managing the physical security and life safety functions for Nationwide and its subsidiaries. Assists in developing and managing programs to provide physical security and life safety protection for Nationwide associates.
Reports to
:
Security Manager, responsible for 10+ direct report security leads and guards.
- Education: Undergraduate studies in education, business administration, criminal justice, private security, or other related area.
- Experience: Six years experience in the private sector of the security industry in a position supervising/managing others, or three years as a full-time, certified law enforcement supervisor. Experience in handling all types of security related emergencies. Must be bondable.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with all laws governing private security as well as normal security programs for life/safety and property protection. Familiar with enterprise security policies and procedures. Proven knowledge with budgeting and project administration.
- Skills/
Competencies:
Ability to analyze security situations to determine the safest, most appropriate action. Able to conduct risk assessment and recommend security countermeasures. Able to supervise security employees in a variety of emergency situations and handle high-stress situations. Basic law enforcement skills including communication, first responder techniques, crime scene investigation, care and operation of firearms, and progressive use of force.
