Whether you’re prepping drill sites, assisting operators, or handling backfill and restoration, you’ll be an essential part of getting fiber infrastructure in the ground—safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities- Assist drill operators and locators with job site setup and teardown
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
- Excavate and backfill manually with shovels and hand tools
- Perform potholing/day lighting to expose underground utilities
- Mix drilling fluids (mud mixing) as directed
- Operate small equipment (e.g., tampers, vac units, saws)
- Restore sites (grading, raking, seeding, sodding)
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
- Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety protocols
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
- 2+ years of experience in fiber optic installations
- Able to take direction from foreman and locator
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in trenches
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- CDL Class A is a plus, not required
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and physical
- Reliable, safety‑focused, and a strong team player
- Willingness to travel for out‑of‑town projects required

Full‑Time, Monday–Friday
10 to 12‑hour shifts
Overtime and weekend work as needed

This is a field‑based, travel‑required role—you’ll work both locally and out‑of‑town depending on project needs
