Pay range: $18.00/hr – $21.00/hr (actual pay based on experience and qualifications).
Position OverviewThe Landscape Maintenance Team Member performs a variety of duties assigned by the team leader, including lawn maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging), weeding, pruning, plant installation and care, minor hardscape installation, and material movement.
Compensation- Hourly compensation starting at $18/hr, based on experience and qualifications.

- Perform a wide variety of horticultural tasks to ensure an attractive landscape and optimal plant health (weed control, pruning, mowing, trimming, edging, and routine lawn‑care activities).
- Move materials across job sites using tools such as wheelbarrows, ball carts, and tarps.
- Use hand tools (shovels, picks, rakes) to dig holes for plant and hardscape elements, lawn grading, seed/sod installation, and related activities.
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of softscape and minor hardscape projects.
- Install plants (transport, soil amendments, placement).
- Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment; notify team leader of necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site; perform clean‑up and walk‑throughs to ensure all tasks are completed and account for all company equipment.
- Maintain a professional image at all times and provide polite responses and interactions with clients.
- Report to work on time, effectively listen, and perform assignments from team leader; may assist in equipment loading and unloading.
- Execute snow removal duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; one year of experience preferred.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Some knowledge of installation and maintenance practices (pruning, weed control, lawn maintenance, plant installation, hardscape installation) preferred.
- Reliable transportation to shop and assigned job sites, if applicable.
- Subject to background check.

Employees regularly stand, walk, crouch, stoop, and kneel, and must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Vision and hearing are required for job tasks. Employees are exposed to wet/humid conditions, outdoors weather, and moving mechanical equipment. Work sites are located on both residential and commercial properties and may include exposure to pets.
The employee will work closely with Division Managers, Team Leaders, Team Members, and clients.
