About the PositionWe have an immediate opening for a Low Voltage Systems Technician in Columbus, OH
. The role requires proven experience installing structured cabling and additional experience mounting and connecting end devices for Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems.
- Install Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems.
- Install structured cabling, including Cat‑6/6A jack terminations at patch panels and faceplates.
- Read and interpret low‑voltage plans and schematics.
- Troubleshoot and repair network and control systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA).
- Prior work experience on large construction site projects under supervision of a Project Manager and/or Lead Technician.
- OSHA card required; manufacturer’s certifications (BICSI Installer, BICSI Installer Plus, BICSI Installer‑Plus, BICSI IS‑Installer) are a plus.
- Strong safety‑first mentality and quality‑oriented, self‑motivated work ethic.
- Professional appearance and ability to represent the company image.
- Lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Transfer 100 lbs. 12 feet with assistance.
- Work outdoors in diverse environments.
- Ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures.
- Work from heights using an elevated aerial device.
