Job Description

The Loader Operator I is responsible for operating heavy equipment and trucks, setting up equipment for auction in yards, and supporting customers during and after auctions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks
  • Set up equipment in the yard for auctions
  • Help customers load equipment purchases and answer related yard questions
  • Support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: send everyone home safely each day by taking personal responsibility for own safety, team safety, co‑workers, and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Experience operating heavy machinery
  • Ability to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift (asset)
  • Good spoken and written English (required)
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Track record of working safely and helping others work safely
  • Strong customer and team communication skills
  • Tendency to work in a team, but also self‑start and work independently when required
  • Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High level of attention to detail
