Team Fishel is interviewing for highly qualified Underground Utility Locators who will manage changing work areas to mark underground utilities at various construction sites for damage prevention. This is an excellent opportunity located in our Columbus, OH office.

• 1+ years experience preferred.
• A Valid CDL-A is a plus.
• Prior construction experience is a plus.

Technicians use locating equipment, including holding a receiver weighing up to 5 pounds.

Technicians drive between jobs using maps and/or GPS; utilize a laptop to read and interpret utility maps, manage work orders, and document markings.

Technicians walk on various terrains (grass, gravel, dirt, roadways).

Work outside in all weather conditions, using communication equipment to coordinate with excavators and personnel, following safety practices.

Enter confined spaces, remove and replace manhole lids weighing up to 150 pounds, and locate buried utility lines, often squatting, kneeling, and using hands for up to 8 hours daily.

The Utility Locator must have a passion for safety and accuracy; meeting and exceeding expectations is crucial. There is strong potential upside as the Columbus area business grows.
