• Immediate hiring for an experienced mid‑level diesel technician to support our truck fleet.

  Tuesday–Saturday, second shift Tuesday‑Friday 2:00 pm‑10:30 pm and Saturdays 7:00 am‑3:30 pm.
• Hourly Pay: $27.50.
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification up to $700.
• Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 per quarter (four times per year).
• Sign‑On Bonus: $1,250 after 30 days and $1,250 after 90 days.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification or post‑secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work).
• Two or more years of combined classroom training and work experience in diesel engine maintenance (preferred).
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months of hire.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background/motor‑vehicle check, including verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Some positions may require additional screening (employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; road test; badging).

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance, component inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers when applicable.
• Identify root cause of failures and perform required repairs.
• Replace defective components as instructed.
• Perform facility maintenance duties.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints.
• Utilize key functions of shop management system and electronic documentation.
• Work in accordance with all federal, provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT).
• Perform other support duties as required to support operations (e.g., service island support).
