Maintenance Technician II

Job Description:

Hiltop at Senior Village is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II with a strong background in drywall repair and finishing and well-rounded apartment maintenance skills. This is a hands-on position for a skilled technician who can independently complete high-quality repairs, unit turns, and maintenance projects across multiple trades.

What You’ll Do Complete apartment unit turns with minimal contractor support

Perform drywall installation, patching, texturing, finishing, sanding, and repairs

Complete carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general maintenance repairs

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems

Address water damage, wall restoration, and interior repairs

Perform preventive maintenance in apartments and common areas

Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely, professional manner

Maintain safe, clean, and well-maintained buildings and grounds

Follow company standards, safety procedures, and applicable building codes

Maintain accurate maintenance records and track inventory and supplies

What We’re Looking For2+ years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required

Advanced skills in drywall finishing, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issuesHVAC experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to complete unit turns efficiently and professionally

High school diploma or GED required

Technical training, certifications, or trade experience are a plus Valid driver’s license required

Additional Requirements Participation in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays $60/month mobile phone allowance
