Skid Steer Operator

As a Skid Steer Operator, you’ll help keep properties safe and accessible during winter weather by operating equipment to clear snow and manage ice conditions. This role involves running skid steers with plows, pushers, or blowers to efficiently remove snow from parking lots, sidewalks, and other surfaces.

• Operate skid steer equipment to safely and effectively clear snow from parking lots and walkways
• Assist with applying salt or de-icing materials as needed
• Respond promptly to snow events, including overnight, weekend, and extended shifts
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs immediately
• Follow safety company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to maintain safe working conditions

• Ability to safely operate skid steer equipment in compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and all applicable state and local regulations
• General knowledge and experience operating skid steer equipment required
• Experience plowing with pusher boxes or similar snow removal attachments preferred
• Must be available 24/7 during snow events; work hours are determined by weather conditions and snowfall accumulation
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor winter conditions, including standing, walking, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties
